MSC Cruises to homeport in Tampa
MSC Cruises is headed for Tampa next year where it will homeport MSC Armonia.
Starting November 2020 Armonia will sail to the Caribbean, Mexico and the Bahamas year-round.
It begins with four- to five-night short cruises from November 11, 2020 for the winter season followed by week-long sailings from May-November 2021.
Prior to the Tampa deployment the ship will go into dry dock for a refresh.
Winter itineraries include calls at Key West, Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico.
"As MSC Cruises expands its presence in the U.S., the introduction of Tampa as a homeport plays an important role in our long-term deployment strategy," said Ken Muskat, COO of MSC Cruises USA.
To mark the opening of sales for Tampa sailings, MSC is offering 20% commission for all bookings through March 12, 2020.
