MSC Cruises to resume sailing this week
MSC Cruises will resume weekly voyages on the MSC Grandiosa from 24 January.
The ship will leave every Sunday from the Italian port of Genoa and pick up passengers at other Italian ports. It will also stop at Valetta in Malta during the cruise.
MSC said the decision to resume sailing on the Grandiosa followed the latest ministerial decree by the Italian government which authorised the resumption of cruise operations.
The Italian operator was the first major cruise line in the world to resume sailing last August, but its cruises were suspended over Christmas due to local travel restrictions in Italy over the festive period.
