MSC Cruises USA names strategic sales and groups SVP
MSC Cruises USA has named Lori Sheller as senior vice president for strategic sales and groups.
In a newly created position, Sheller will be responsible for building relationships with major travel agent consortia and key accounts.
She reports directly to Roberto Fusaro, president of MSC Cruises USA and works alongside Joe Jiffo, field sales SVP, who is in charge of setting strategy for field sales.
Sheller brings nearly two decades of cruise and travel industry experience, most recently with Tourico Holidays as vice president of cruise development.
"In less than 18 months, MSC Cruises will have four ships serving the North American region. With our anticipated increased capacity, we’ve also taken a new look at our sales structure to see how we can best meet the needs of our existing valued travel agent partners as well as develop relationships with new travel agents," said Fusaro.
By late 2019, MSC will have MSC Seaside, MSC Divina, MSC Armonia and MSC Meraviglia serving the North America market.
