MSC signs for 12th ship
MSC Cruises has unveiled its 12th ship and flagship, the MSC Fantastica.
The cruise line’s president, Gianluigi Aponte, signed a deal with the STX France ship yards in St-Nazaire, accompanied by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
The vessel is due to be delivered by the end of spring 2012.
MSC CEO Pierfrancesco Vago said: “MSC Fantastica will build on the success of the ‘Fantasia’ prototype, appreciated by more and more guests as unique its class thanks to innovate features like the MSC Yacht Club, the ship within a ship offering unprecedented levels of privacy and personalized service.”
