Name change likely for Malaysia Airlines
Malaysia Airlines has begun working on a strategic review that could see it change its name, according to its commercial director.
Writing in the Sunday Telegraph, commercial director Hugh Dunleavy said the Malaysian government had already begun assessing the ‘future shape’ of the airline before the downing of flight MH17 earlier this month.
Following the MH17 disaster, the process is being speeded up, he said.
"There are several options on the table but all involve creating an airline fit for purpose in what is a new era for us, and other airlines," he said.
