The role entails growing and strengthening the Australian business in line with the company’s strategies through new and sustained product and sales development. Leading the sales and product teams, meeting and exceeding sales targets, making sure service levels are adhered to and putting procedures in place to secure new growth, cement current relationships and build the success of the operation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a previous business development management background in travel, hospitality or wholesale capacity, preferably on a National level. You will also have experience of setting business plans, business strategies and selling products in a B2B environment. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to communicate effectively on all levels, both written and orally, be able to work cooperatively and be flexible with team members and have the ability to adjust to this rapidly changing environment.
