National Cruise Week dates confirmed

Organisers of National Cruise Week have announced it will take place from September 15 to 23 this year.

ACE said it will work alongside agents in raising awareness of cruise "and the exceptional choice and value offered". It will provide training support and guidance for agents.

For the first time, Columbus Day – which his part of the 2012 ACE Cruise Convention, will be held during National Cruise week in Birmingham on September 20.

ACE director Andy Harmer said: "National Cruise Week provides a window of opportunity for agents up and down the country to join with ACE to highlight the many reasons why a cruise offers such great value. 

"The week will particularly focus on new to cruise with one of the main aims being to demonstrate the huge diversity in cruise holidays – from ocean to river, the thousands of worldwide destinations and the wide choice in the size and style of cruise ship."
