National Jet Express launches new WA route
National Jet Express (NJE), part of the Rex Group of Airlines, has launched new Perth flights to the brand new West Musgrave Airport, located in remote Western Australia.
The new Western Australia route marks the third new airport for NJE in the past month, after Gruyere and Gladstone.
It comes as the airline welcomed its latest Embraer E190 aircraft to the fleet last week.
The aircraft increases the NJE E190 fleet from six to seven, and follows the recent introduction of NJE’s ninth De Havilland Dash 8-Q400 aircraft in October 2023.
NJE’s interim COO, Robin Furber, said, “NJE’s fleet expansion underscores our commitment to servicing the ever-growing demand of the resource sectors,”
“For too long the resource sectors have had to make do with unreliable, 30-year-old aircraft that are environmentally unfriendly .”
NJE was founded in 1994 and serves major clients in the mining and resources sector across Australia.
