NCL awards World Travel Holdings top agency prize
Norwegian Cruise Line has named Massachusetts agency World Travel Holdings (WTH) the Elite Agency of the Year for 2013.
The Wimington-based agency was selected for NCL’s top honor for its ongoing commitment and brand loyalty to the cruise line, continued growth and overall revenue.
This is the third consecutive year WTH has won the award and is one of the nation’s top cruise agencies with offices in Long Island, Florida, Virginia and the UK.
The company also came top in the Home-Based Agency of the Year category.
Other winners included Cruise Planners/American Express of Coral Springs, FL for Franchise Agency of the Year, Tourico of Altamonte Springs, FL for Retail Agency of the Year and Virtuoso in Seattle scooped the award for Consortia Partner of the Year.
Norwegian Cruise Line CEO Kevin Sheehan commended the winners by saying: "Congratulations to this year’s top agencies. Our highly-valued travel partners are the key to the ongoing success of Norwegian Cruise Line. We appreciate the commitment, dedication and passion they have for our brand and applaud them for all of their hard work in 2013."
