NCL returning to South America
Norwegian Cruise Line is making a return to South America for the 2027/2028 season.
NCL skipped the region in 2025/2026 season and the upcoming 2026/2027 season.
Norwegian Star will make its return to South America with sailings starting from December 2027 through March 2028.
They will be 15- and 16-day cruises departing Buenos Aires and Santiago, Chile.
Cruise itineraries visit the Falkland Islands, and onward to Antarctica.
To start and end the season, Norwegian Star will sail transatlantic to and from Lisbon, Portugal and Buenos Aires with stops in Cape Verde, Brazil and Uruguay.
NCL’s 2027/2028 season sees a program of sailings across Asia and Australia and New Zealand.
Starting in October 2027, Norwegian Jade will sail cruises from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea.
The program features over 20 different ports in Japan with some sailings including an overnight call in Hong Kong.
“We’re thrilled to unveil our new immersive winter season, our itineraries are designed for flexibility and choice,” said Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings CEO Harry Sommer.”
Norwegian Jade will also sail through Southeast Asia from Singapore, visiting Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
