NCL reveals summer 2019 itineraries
Norwegian Cruise Line has released details of its summer 2019 itineraries, which include basing Norwegian Spirit at Southampton.
Norwegian Spirit, which will sail a selection of 10-day or longer itineraries, is one of five ships that will operate in Europe for the season.
Norwegian Epic returns to sail seven-day Western Mediterranean cruises while Norwegian Getaway will return to the Baltic.
Following an extensive renovation in 2017, Norwegian Jade will spend the summer 2019 season cruising the Greek Islands and Italy.
Norwegian Star, which will undergo a refurbishment in spring 2018, will also sail the Greek Isles and Eastern Mediterranean, offering primarily seven-day cruises.
Elsewhere in the fleet, Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Pearl and Norwegian Jewel will all cruise to Alaska while Norwegian Dawn will return to its original homeport of New York City, sailing from Manhattan on seven-day cruises to the Bahamas and Florida and New England and coastal Canada.
Norwegian Escape will sail out of NYC to Bermuda, while Norwegian Gem will also sail to Bermuda, out of Boston.
Other highlights include Norwegian Breakaway sailing to the Caribbean from Miami.
President and CEO Andy Stuart said the itinerary range will ‘fulfill every summer travel wish list’.
Most itineraries go on sale this week, although Norwegian Spirit cabins go on sale in mid-January, when full itinerary details will be released.
