NCL scraps Asia cruises
Norwegian Cruise Line has cancelled a full season of Asia cruises amid ongoing ‘challenges to cruising in Asia.’
All Asia sailings on the Norwegian Sun are scrapped and the ship will instead sail the Canary Islands.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our guests and travel partners and apologize for this inconvenience,” the cruise line said.
“We remain committed to Asia, both as a destination and as a source market.”
The Norwegian Sun was due to sail in Asia from October until April 2023.
Other cruise lines including Holland America Line and Princess have pulled ships due to the uncertainty.
