Neilson creates new business development role
Active holiday specialist Neilson has created a new position of business development manager.
The Brighton-based company hopes the role will boost agent and affinity sales since its split from Thomas Cook to become an independent operator.
Lindsay Dixon, who worked in reservations with Neilson Ski in 1990, has returned to the company to take the role.
She had left to gain over 20 years of sales and account management experience with various travel companies including Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruises, First Choice Holidays and TUI UK.
Her responsibilities will include maximising sales revenue and passenger volumes, identifying potential partnership opportunities and growing sales revenue for the Neilson Ski, Beachclub and Yacht programmes.
