New, all-inclusive boutique hotel in Mexico

Karisma Hotels is transforming a 102-room beachfront property in Mexico into what it calls the “world’s first all-inclusive boutique resort with one-of-a-kind services, style and food.”

The Azul Hotel + Beach Resort, scheduled to open next month, will be Karisma’s sixth property in Mexico.

Said Lubo Krstajic, executive vice president of Karisma:

“When we took over the property, we researched the Caribbean and Mexico and saw many similarities. We were tired with the status quo and decided to give the all-inclusive concept a completely new identity.”

The renovation will include giving the hotel a more modern look and feel. But in addition to design, all-inclusive items will also define the properties. These features will include Beach Butlers that provide a variety of beachfront services. There will be many activities for children.

All rooms will also have 24-hour room service and DVD players.

The hotel will also offer a Vacation Planner, a specialist to help guests take advantage of the area’s attractions.

Two specialty restaurants will require no reservations. The restaurants will differ from other hotels in that they will have a large variety of menus, including low carbohydrate items.

The hotel is on the Rivera Maya about 15 minutes from Cancun Airport.
