New appointments for Jamaica Tourist Board

The Jamaica Tourist Board has made two key appointments to its leadership team.
 
Director of Tourism Paul Pennicook has named hospitality veteran Marcia McLaughlin as deputy director of tourism, marketing. 
 
McLaughlin brings many years of tourism marketing in Jamaica and the US and has handled PR and marketing for a diverse portfolio of companies such as Sandals Resorts International and Air Jamaica Vacations.
 
McLaughlin’s skillset includes brand direction, managing regional and global media relations, event planning and digital marketing.
 
"We are happy to have Ms McLaughlin join the team.  She has an impeccable marketing track record in both local and international markets," Pennicook said.  
 
"Under her stewardship we are confident that the destination will enjoy continued growth in new and existing markets as she brings new marketing strategies and vehicles to bear." 
 
Pennicook also announced Francine Carter Henry has joined as manager, tour operators and airlines.
 
Carter Henry is Miami based and responsible for leading destination marketing and promotional strategies alongside tour operators and airlines.
