New Austrian ski resorts added by UK operator
Booking holidays to the popular Austrian ski resort Ischgl and its close neighbours Galtür and Kappl are easier now following their introduction by UK winter sports operator Zenith Holidays.
It is offering bespoke trips to the resorts just in time for Ischgl’s end of season concert with Deep Purple on April 30.
The resort will close for the ski season on May 1, but Zenith will continue to operate holidays to the resorts in the Paznaun region during the summer.
The inclusion of the family-friendly resort of Kappl means that the village has a UK tour operator for the first time.
Tourist director Andreas Steibl said: "We are delighted that Zenith has added our resorts to their programme for UK holidaymakers.
"This is very important for us to bring more British visitors to our valley and enjoy the mountains, both in winter with skiing and snowboarding, and in summer too with hiking, mountain biking and many more outdoor sports."
And Katie Waddington, co-founder of Zenith Holidays said: "We are excited to announce that we are now featuring the resorts of Kappl, Ischgl and Galtür in our Austrian programme for both summer and winter.
"Between these three resorts there is something for everyone – family friendly hotels and skiing, good après-ski, a range of slopes from easy ones for beginners to challenging runs for the more experienced skier and a whole host of activities to try out in the summer months. We are confident our guests will love these resorts and everything they have to offer."
