New Biarritz route for easyJet

Friday, 04 Jul, 2008 0

A Gatwick to Biarritz service has been launched today (Friday) by easyJet.

The airline will fly four times a week on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It expects to carry 10,000 passengers on the new route in the first 12 months of operation.

Tickets start at £43.60 return, including taxes.

The airline’s UK country manager David Osborne said:  “Biarritz is already a popular destination from other easyJet bases and now travellers from Gatwick have the opportunity to explore one of the most popular destinations on the west coast of France.

“Forward bookings for the route have been strong, which further proves the demand for affordable flights to the sun this summer.”
