New booking app targets first-time cruisers
A new online travel platform is targeting first-time cruisers.
Cruisebound says it helps ease new cruisers through the ’complicated process of booking a cruise.’
It aggregates deals from major cruise lines, allowing users to compare prices and itineraries.
It touts average savings of 15-30%.
It is a mobile-first service focusing on younger first-time cruisers.
Cruisebound says the median customer age is 36 years old and over 90% of bookings are on mobile.
“When booking my first cruise, I was surprised at how difficult it was to book online and nearly impossible on a mobile device,” said CEO Pierre-Olivier Lepage.
