New boss named for Windstar Cruises
Sailing yacht cruise line Windstar Cruises has named a new president.
Diane Moore steps up from the role of executive vice president of marketing, sales, reservations, guest services and customer relations.
The line, part of the Ambassadors Cruise Group, runs three vessels carrying between 148 and 312 passengers.
Moore, who has been with the company since 2005 when it was a subsidiary of Holland America Line, has 30 years industry experience including roles at Crystal Cruises and Royal Cruise Line.
Joe Ueberroth, chairman of Ambassadors Cruise Group, said: “Her leadership and dedication to our unique product and the luxury we deliver to our guests has been the driving force behind our current success. The future of Windstar Cruises could not be in better hands.â€
Besides Windstar, the company operates North American river and coastal cruising line Majestic America Line.
