New boutique hotel brings Berlin to central London
A new boutique hotel is coming to London, bringing a touch of Berlin-style energy to the heart of the capital.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden is opening in spring on Drury Lane, and is the first international destination from Berlin-based hotelier, The AMANO Group.
AMANO currently has eight hotels in Berlin, one in Munich, and one in Düsseldorf.
Hotels offer sophisticated urban living in a central location at a competitive price and are renowned for distinctive design and F&B experiences.
Housed in a 1980s office building formally known as Drury House, the 141-room property is the first of multiple AMANO hotels set to open in London.
Hotel AMANO Covent Garden will offer a basement bar, restaurant, sky bar and rooftop terrace with city views and DJ sets on weekends.
AMANO Covent Garden serves as an ideal base for solo and business travellers, couples, and families wanting to explore the capital.
There are three room categories – cosy, comfy and roomy – to suit a range of budgets.
The property showcases unique design features from London-based design studio, Woods Bagot, the lead architect and interior designer behind the new opening.
"As a Berlin-based company, opening our first international property in London was always a natural step for us. Like Berlin, London is a dynamic city. We felt the spirit of the AMANO brand would blend in well here. We’re excited to offer guests a unique hotel and leisure experience, bringing a taste of Berlin to London," said co-founder of The AMANO Group, Ariel Schiff,
Rates will start from approximately £139 per night.
