New brand management VP named at Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has named Dan Csont as new vice president of brand management who joins the airline on Monday December 12.
 
Csont will be responsible for product development, customer experience initiatives, brand design and marketing.
 
"Dan has a strong track record of combining innovation, brand strategy, strategic marketing communications and analytics to positively address customer needs," said Tim Mapes, Delta senior vice president and chief marketing officer. 
 
"Dan’s leadership will bolster Delta’s continued efforts to expand the appeal of the Delta brand internationally and to earn greater preference for the Delta brand around the world."
 
He joins Delta from electronics firm TE Connectivity where he was global chief marketing officer.
 
There he led a global team in 10 countries developing digital strategy and branding functions.
 
Prior to that Csont held executive marketing positions at AT&T and Equifax.
