New-build Amari hotel coming to Laos capital Vientiane
Thailand’s ONYX Hospitality Group has signed a deal to bring its second Amari brand hotel to Laos.
In partnership with developer Asia Investment, Development & Construction Sole Co, Ltd, a new-build Amari will rise in the capital Vientiane featuring 250 rooms and suites spread over 15 floors.
Amari Vientiane will have signature Amari services and amenities including the street market-style Amaya Food Gallery, Breeze Spa and indoor and outdoor meeting space.
It will also have an outdoor pool and fully equipped fitness centre.
It is slated to open in 2021.
"We look forward to the opportunity of targeting more international visitors. This deal is part of the strategic expansion of the ONYX portfolio, with 50 operating properties and close to 30 additional projects in the development pipeline," said ONYX CEO Douglas Martell.
In the past two years The Amari brand has entered new markets including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, China, and its first location in Laos in Vang Vieng.
It also signed management agreements for Amari Kuala Lumpur and Amari Penang earlier this year.
