New CEO for Tourism Tasmania
Tony Mayell has been appointed as the new chief executive of Tourism Tasmania.
Tourism Tasmania chairman, Bob Annells, said Mayell would “assist Tourism Tasmania in continuing to develop and grow its relationship with trade networks throughout Australia and beyondâ€.
Mayell is moving to Tasmania from the Northern Territory where he is executive director in the Department of Chief Minister.
Previous to that he was until October 2007 general manager at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort.
He was general manager Europe – for the Australian Tourist Commission in 2002-2003 and before that managing director/CEO of the Northern Territory Tourist Commission.
