New CEO for TravelTainment
Andrew Owen-Jones has been promoted to CEO of TravelTainment following the retirement of Ralf Usbeck
He has been managing director of TravelTainment since April 2008, together with Michael Kalt.
Since 2004, Owen-Jones was responsible for international strategy in tourism travel business for Amadeus.
He was a driving force behind the TravelTainment acquisition in 2006.
“Through Andy’s insider know-how and excellent networking in Amadeus and TravelTainment, we have gained an optimum interface to our parent group with him,†said Kalt.
“This way, we can ideally structure the continued successful development of TravelTainment in Germany, and particularly also its internationalisation.â€
In the coming weeks and months, Owen-Jones intends to intensify discussions with TravelTainment customers in order to become more familiar with their needs.
