New company offers review technology for smaller businesses
A new company launches this week offering specialist tour operators, agents and independent hotels the chance to include client reviews on their websites.
Called iTrust-reviews.com, the company is the brainchild of Tim Argent, formerly director of travel options IT systems Spirit of Greece, and Doug Mathieson, previously commercial director with Cadogan Holidays and Explore Montenegro.
The pair say they have devised a ‘made to measure application widget’ which allows operators, agents and accommodation providers to display client scores, feedback and comments on their website.
The technology also allows the principal to post comment, feedback and monitor reviews as they are posted and has a built-in safeguard against bogus postings.
"We felt that we could improve on the technology and functionality currently available at a considerably more attractive entry level price while providing a fair and more level playing field," said Argent.
Prices start at £30 per month plus VAT for up to 100 reviews and a mailing of 500 emails per month.
