New directory offers more Choice
Choice Hotels Australasia™ (CHA) has expanded its reach across the Tasman, with the company’s 2006 Asia Pacific Directory offering 13 new properties, including four in New Zealand.
Unveiling the 2006 Asia Pacific Directory, CHA Managing Director David Bayes said the latest guide put 330 hotels, inns, suites and resorts throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific at the fingertips of local travellers.
“We are proud to announce 13 new sign-ups in great locations such as the Gold Coast, Cairns, Melbourne, Adelaide, the Hunter Valley and Mackay, as well as Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand,” Mr Bayes said.
“Properties such as the brand new Clarion Suites Milano on Swanston in Melbourne, due to open in 2007, the Comfort Resort Blue Pacific in Mackay and Comfort Inn Bay of Islands are just some of our exciting new range of suite and apartment accommodation in key destinations.
“The directory also features touring maps and colour-coded sections so guests can plot their entire journey around Australia or New Zealand, staying at Comfort, Quality and Clarion properties the whole way.
“The Choice Hotels directory is always in high demand by touring guests and is recognised as one of the most sought-after travel resources on the market.”
Mr Bayes said other destinations covered included New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, American Samoa, China and Singapore, and information was also provided on CHA’s new Encompass program, Choice HotelPass, Choice Privileges Rewards Program, AAA Tourism Star Ratings and deals with airline partners Qantas and Air New Zealand.
“The 2006 Directory complements the group’s websites, online booking facilities and innovative electronic directories which automatically add new properties as they come online.
