Frank Docherty is to join travel website creators Digital Trip.
The former sales director at Traveltec will become the agency’s business development director.
Docherty has been working in the travel industry for 24 years and joins the company as it looks to broaden out to Europe.
Digital Trip’s managing director Andy Speight said: “Over the last three years we have become one of the leading travel technology providers in the UK, and with over 130 clients we are now ready to push on to the next level.
“We welcome Frank as a full board member and his wealth of experience and industry contacts will enable Digital Trip to continue our expansion as well as undoubtedly contributing significantly to our business’s success.”
Docherty added: “I’m looking forward to joining a young dynamic and innovative company. Travel technology is constantly evolving and I look forward to delivering sound, robust technology to clients old and new.”
