New flights between Spain and Croatia
In early June, the first airplane of the Spanish company Iberia of Madrid landed in Dubrovnik Airport.
This was the beginning of regular flights between Madrid and Dubrovnik, available every Saturday and Sunday until 12 October plus every Tuesday from 24 June to 12 October. Iberia owns 172 airplanes and this is the first time in history that regular flights are available between Spain and Croatia.
Last year, 154 thousand Spaniards visited Croatia, which is one third more than 2006. Further growth is expected this year.
