A new golf operator is to be sold by Worldchoice agents after becoming a business partner of the Travel Trust Association.
Nevada Bob’s Golf Holidays is able to offer a full bonding facility through the business partner scheme, while the commercial deal will see both TTA and Worldchoice agents selling its tailor-made itineraries.
The operator is expected to be the first supplier to the consortium’s new Active specialist group, which aims to provide suppot to agent transactions in the activity sector including, golf, cycling, ski and family holidays.
Managing director Boyd Robathan said: “The service we have launched is very focussed on providing personalised itineraries for individuals and groups under a brand that is well known in golfing circles.
“Our expertise is knowing not only the golf courses, but in having access to the best accommodation and in-depth destination knowledge which can really shine through, whether its booking a local restaurant or arranging non-golfing excursions from deep sea fishing to wine tours.
“In this respect, the ability to offer a bonded holiday was an extremely important consideration to us when we joined the TTA and through the network of 850+ agents we now have a huge retail presence, which will be a significant route for us to be able to scale-up the business.”
Simon Hargreaves, managing director of Worldchoice and Travel Trust Association added: “This typifies the type of innovative solution we have to offer both business partners and travel agents, retailing across a broad section of media.”
