New guide highlights Daytona’s best small inns
The Daytona Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau is now distributing its “2007 Superior Small Lodging Guide,” featuring fine small hotels, inns, beachfront cottages, and bed and breakfasts in the greater Daytona Beach area.
The guide features detailed information on the resort area’s quaint oceanfront cottages, romantic bed and breakfasts and family-friendly motels. Photographs, amenities, Web site and rate information for the 37 area innkeepers are listed in the guide as well as a detailed map designating the location of each property.
”Each listed lodging has passed a stringent inspection and met quality assurance standards for personalized service, housekeeping, comfort, and welcoming ambiance,” according to the CVB.
To be considered for the program, a property must have no more than 50 rooms and be licensed by the Florida State Department of Business Regulation.
The quality assurance known as Superior Small Lodging was founded in 1989. The Daytona Beach area’s program started in 1992.
Also featured in the guide is The Villa Bed & Breakfast, winner of Florida Superior Small Lodging’s 2006 White Gloves Award for superior housekeeping.
