New Hoseasons sales chief joins from Cresta

Thursday, 27 Nov, 2006 0

Former Cresta Holidays trade relations manager Zena Calderbank has joined Hoseasons as head of sales.

She will be responsible for managing a new trade force of six people, which the operator is currently recruiting. She moves after 17 years at Cresta.

Calderbank will spearhead a drive to build awareness of the range of Hoseasons products, to revitalise the brand’s image in the trade, and to build on the strong trade relationships which the operator has traditionally enjoyed, the company said

Business development director Pali Badwal said: “Zena brings the kind of strong and longstanding relationship with the travel trade which is important to us at Hoseasons, and her wealth of experience will help us as we build a new sales team which will offer even more support to travel agents than we have ever offered.”

Calderbank will spend much of her time on the road, but will be based at home in Altrincham, Cheshire.
