New hotel turndown service…for your car

Saturday, 19 Dec, 2006 0

So you’ve heard it all when it comes to creative hotel amenities? How about turndown service for your auto?

That’s what is being offered at the new Regent South Beach in Miami Beach.

Overnight car-sitting is also available but only for luxury vehicles.

The nightly tuck-in is available to all guest cars, says the South Florida Business Journal.

The turndown service  includes a wash and wax, interior vacuuming, tire pressure check and a daily front-seat gift for the driver.

The car-sitting service offers a valet to closely monitor the car in the hotel’s on-site parking garage until sunrise.

“South Beach is a uniquely impassioned market when it comes to cars,” said Helena Blat, the hotel’s general manager. “For more than a few of our clientele, they could be in the most luxurious room imaginable, and their thoughts at night will still be on their car: Is it being cared for? Sufficiently admired?” She added:

“We want to assure our guests that all their cars’ needs are being met at all hours, so they can focus on the singular experience the Regent South Beach provides.”
