New industry conferences announced by TravelMole
TravelMole is to run a new series of conferences debating topical industry issues.
Six Travel Industry Question Time events have been confirmed in conjunction with ABTA through to January 2006.
As the name implies, each Question Time will feature a panel of industry discussing a specific hot topic with a moderator who will encourage audience participation.
Each Question Time will be held at ABTA’s headquarters in Newman Street, London, between 15.00-17.00 including time for networking.
The first Question Time has attracted a top panel of speakers to debate the issue of dynamic packaging.
Confirmed for Stat’s Amazing – Dynamic packaging: what’s working and what’s not on July 19 are:
*Vic Darvey, general manager of holidayandmore.com
*Paul Evans, chief executive of lowcostbeds.com
*Stuart Jackson, commercial director of Cosmos
*Derek Jones, retail and commercial director of TUI UK
*John Seaton, regional sales director, Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa, for Pegasus Solutions
The moderator will be TravelMole columnist/contributor and former Travel Weekly editor Jeremy Skidmore.
The dates for further Question Times are: September 20 (Fly Me to the Moon – the next chapters in travel and tourism), October 18 (Shaping the Travel Agent of Tomorrow – future strategies for growth), November 29 (Pies in the Sky? – The future of aviation), December 6 (Oceans of Opportunity? – How far can the cruise boom go?) and January 2006 – date to be confirmed – (Changing Demographics – How can the industry learn from the customer of tomorrow?).
