Long haul specialist Mark Robson has set up a new operator Travel Beyond.
He began his career as a travel consultant with Trailfinders in London and spent 10 years at Kuoni.
The ATOL bonded company www.travelbeyond.co.uk based in Guildford aims to offer the essence of what travel should be about – creating truly memorable holidays through genuinely different and exciting experiences, according to Robson.
It offers private guided tours, tailor made journeys and handpicked beach destinations worldwide.
Robson said: “My ultimate ambition has been to run my own travel company and staff it with knowledgeable, enthusiastic experts who together restore the personal touch to luxury travel.
“We offer authenticity and amazement, rather than the obvious tourist trails, with hand picked hotels of exceptional quality instead of mass market accommodation, the best local guides who bring a destination to life and imaginative journeys.
“We believe if you travel with Beyond you will experience something different and if it is different it is far more likely to be truly memorable.
“The itineraries featured on our website are examples of the kind of journeys we can create, designed to incorporate the highlights of a particular country or region together with a few off-the-beaten track experiences, in the most leisurely and enjoyable way.”
