Cebu Pacific Air will launch non-stop flights from Sydney to Manila in September, marking the entry of the Philippines’ largest airline into Australia.

The low-cost carrier’s all-economy class flights will operate four-times weekly to Ninoy Aquino International Airport using Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Alex Reyes, general manager, long-haul, for Cebu Pacific, said the number of Australian leisure travellers heading to the Philippines had grown 25% in the last two years, while there had been "huge growth" in the number of Filipinos travelling from Australia to visit friends and family and for business.

Cebu Pacific is offering A$99 all-inclusive seats until June 19 or until seats last, for travel from September 9 to December 31, 2014.

After the seat sale, the lowest year-round all-inclusive fares from Sydney to Manila start at A$335.

Cebu Pacific is the largest Philippine LCC, offering flights to 34 domestic destinations and 26 destinations outside of the Philippines, including Dubai and Kuwait.

Bookings are taken via the website.

The new flights will run every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, departing Sydney at 1135 and arriving into Manila at 1730.

Flights from Manila to Sydney will operate on the same days, departing Manila at 0015 and arriving into Sydney at 1005.
