New man at Denarau
Denarau Golf & Racquet Club, Denarau Island, Fiji, has appointed Greg Cornwall, as General Manager.
Greg is recognised one of Fiji’s leading hoteliers with an outstanding track record of successfully managing resorts in Fiji and the Asia Pacific region, having been General Manager of Hua Hin Marriot Resort & Spa in Thailand and the Laguna Quays Resort in Australia, Treasure and Bounty Island Resorts and most recently at Golf Terrace Apartments in Fiji.

He also intends to create additional golf and tennis tournaments including lawn bowls. The Clubhouse and golf course are already undergoing a face-lift to ensure the club is more comfortable for both overseas guests and local residents and improvements are scheduled to enhance the food and beverage and shopping experience.

Designed around extensive tidal waterways with water challenges on 15 of the 18 holes, this resort style golf course is unique as it is challenging and is suited to golfers of all standards from beginners to social and weekend enthusiasts and more accomplished players.
