New Management Appointments at Constellation
Constellation Hotel Group has appointed Ben Van Lierop to the position of General Manager for the new ‘Chifley at Penrith Panthers’ in Western Sydney.
The Constellation Hotel Group has a 10-year agreement to manage the property under its 4.5 star Chifley hotel brand from July.
General Manager Operations Australia, Sandra Calabretta, says “Ben comes to us with a wealth of experience having worked in the industry for more than16 years, in hotels ranging from 3 star to 5 star in organisations such as Radisson, Stamford and most recently the 5 star Camp Eden Resort on the Gold Coast Hinterland.”
Elsewhere in Sydney, Matthew Ryan will be moving from the Country Comfort Sydney Central to the position of Special Projects Manager with Constellation. “Matthew’s immediate project will be assisting in the roll out of the new, improved loyalty program ‘Escape Club’, after which time he will be fully allocated to assisting with the Chifley at Penrith Panthers takeover,” Ms Calabretta says.
Roger Sargison returns to the Country Comfort Sydney Central as the Hotel Manager and Jodie Cairns has returned from maternity leave to resume her role as Hotel Manager, The Chifley on George – Brisbane.
