New Mardi Gras river cruise announced today
What better way to celebrate Mardi Gras than with a river cruise in New Orleans?
American Cruise Lines this morning announced a new eight-day Mardi Gras cruise departing March 1, 2014.
Offered as a roundtrip out of New Orleans, the Mardi Gras Celebration cruise includes an exclusive dinner at Antoine’s, a complimentary two-night stay in New Orleans aboard the Queen of the Mississippi prior to their cruise, a private Mardi Gras celebration aboard the ship with traditional foods like King Cake, festive activities including mask making, and a Fat Tuesday celebration onboard the ship, and a number of exclusive tours, including a behind-the-scenes guided tour of Mardi Gras World and a float- building demonstration.
The itinerary includes the Oak Alley Plantation; St. Francisville and Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Natchez and Vicksburg, Mississippi.
Rates run from $4,195 to $6,885.
