New Margaritaville resort coming to Nassau
Lifestyle resort group Margaritaville Holdings has unveiled a $250 million development for Nassau, Bahamas.
Work has begun on Margaritaville at The Pointe and is slated to begin opening in phases next year.
It will feature a 150-room Margaritaville Beach Resort along with 150 branded oceanfront residences, plus a yacht marina, a water park, spa and entertainment complex.
It will also have signature Margaritaville dining outlets, shopping and a kids club.
"We’re excited to combine our casual-luxe brand with the local Bahamian culture. Nassau is an ideal destination for our lifestyle brand as we continue to expand our global hospitality footprint," said John Cohlan, Margaritaville CEO.
Family focused amenities planned include the LandShark water park, which will have a lazy river, surf simulator, a cave aquarium, blue hole diving pool and water slides.
On-site entertainment includes a movie theater, bowling alley and outdoor stage.
