New marketing chief for Europcar UK
Europcar UK has appointed Jose Blanco as UK sales and marketing director.
Blanco replaces Nick Harwood, who has been promoted to sales director key partners for parent Europcar Group.
He joins from Pullmantur Cruises, part of the Royal Caribbean Group, where he was VP commercial and chief commercial office.
Before that he spent five years as sales and marketing director for Europcar in Spain.
"The UK marketplace is experiencing a number of challenges which, I believe make it an exciting place to work at this time," said Blanco.
"I firmly believe that there are many opportunities for Europcar to provide cost-effective and convenient mobility solutions for both business and leisure travellers in the UK. I am, therefore, tremendously excited to be joining the Europcar UK team at this time."
