New marketing company will focus on China
Kate Burgess-Craddy and Helena Beard, directors of PR and Representation agency KBC PR & Marketing, have launched a new company focusing on China.
KBC China Travel Marketing has been set up as a joint venture partnership with Alina Xiang, MD of United Branding, a Chinese travel PR and representation agency with offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
KBC China Travel Marketing will promote UK and global destinations to the Chinese market and will also offer marketing services to Chinese travel companies and destinations looking for representation in the UK, Europe and the USA.
‘China offers immense opportunities to global tourism destinations, but, as a country to do business in, it is challenging," said Burgess-Craddy.
"Our aim is to take away all the hard work for destinations which want to reach this lucrative market.
"Rather than having to source a Chinese representative, and process all the administration and red tape which goes with that, we are offering them the opportunity to work through KBC, a UK company which has been established in the market for 15 years.’
Xiang added: "The UK government’s recent decision to relax the visa application process for Chinese nationals visiting the UK presents another reason for UK destinations, hotels and attractions to reach out to the Chinese market."
