New meeting wrinkles?

Creativity in meetings? Two California hotels say they have answers.

The Viceroy Santa Monica features a “group activity menu” focusing on a range of options designed to energize and educate. Some of the activities offered include sports in the library with Nintendo Wii games and Segway scooter guided rides.

Viceroy Palm Springs focuses on wellness-themed activities and has introduced a  â€œComplete Meetings Package” that includes:

  • Revive Breaks: Participants get a mid-day boost with a 10-minute chair massage or quick-&-easy stretch techniques to build energy and stimulate the mind.

  • A relax program: The Viceroy creates an a la carte spa menu tailored to group needs. Participants can pick treatments from the spa menu or have the spa personalize new ones. Other options include stargazing, and for competitive spirits, Mixology where cocktails are created before Viceroy judges.

“In addition to these options Viceroy Santa Monica also offers refined culinary explorations and fresh-air outings. Meetings at Viceroy Palm Springs can include scenic hikes, yoga and cohesive team building exercises led by Life Coach Trent Blanchard,” says the hotel.
