New Middle East flights from London Stansted
Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus will launch flights from Stansted to the Middle Eastern city of Muscat next month.
The three times weekly flights, starting on July 3, will operate via Istanbul.
Pegasus said the services to Muscat, the capital of Oman, will open up new markets in the Arabian Gulf to business and leisure travellers.
The airline already flies to Dammam, Saudi Arabia’s business hub, from Stansted, with all services operating via Turkey.
From July 15, the Muscat service will increase to four flights a week.
With the new routes to Dammam and Muscat, Pegasus will fly to 110 destinations in 43 countries.
