New NCL ship Prima to debut in Europe
Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed the name of its newest ship as Norwegian Prima.
Due to enter service next year, it is the first in a new class of ships and will debut in Europe next summer.
It will then sail in the Caribbean for the winter 2022-2023 season on five- to nine-day cruises.
The 3,215-passenger ship will launch with cruises from Amsterdam and Copenhagen on 10-night sailings to Northern Europe, the Norwegian fjords and the Baltic.
It will then relocate to North America on a 12-night transatlantic crossing from Southampton to New York on 23 September 2022, calling at Lerwick; Reykjavík, and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
It will then offer a five-night cruise to Bermuda before cruises from Galveston, Miami and then Port Canaveral.
Prima will return to Europe in 2023.
