New regional manager for Tourism Australia
Tourism Australia has appointed Karyn Kent as the new regional general manager south-east Asia. She will begin her Singapore-based role in December.
Kent will replace long-serving Maggie White, who has been the regional general manager since 2001. White will remain with Tourism Australia until the end of 2012 before returning to Australia.
Kent joins Tourism Australia from the South Australian Tourism Commission where she is director of sales, responsible for commercial partnerships and the state’s international marketing activities.
