New service from JetBLue
JetBlue Airways is launching daily service from JEF to The Bahamas at the start of the winter season in November.
The airline has also announced service between New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Fort Lauderdale starting 17 September, and between JFK and Phoenix starting 1 October.
All JetBlue plans have roomy all-leather seats equipped with free, live, 24-channel satellite television.
JetBlue also announced it was waiving change fees and all associated fare penalties for all customers traveling to and from Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers who were booked during the height of Hurricane Frances.
The airline has also offered to waive its standard $25 change fee for Florida travelers affected by the hurricane who wish to rebook travel after 30 Sept.
JetBlue is based at Kennedy Airport in New York.
