New snowboarding film hits Canadian slopes
The Canadian Ski Council’s Grade 4 & 5 SnowPass program is teaming up with the Family Channel and Disney XD Canada to promote upcoming Disney film ‘Cloud 9’.
The movie, starring Dove Cameron and Luke Benward, is a live-action flick set in the snowboarding world and will premiere on the Family Channel on January 17.
Disney XD Canada will then air the film on January 26.
The SnowPass team will call at ski resorts throughout the country promoting a program of movie-themed events, family fun days and giveaways until mid-January.
Events are planned at several ski areas including Blue Mountain in Collingwood, Ontario from January 11-12, and Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver during the weekend of January 18-19.
CSC’s Grade 4 & 5 SnowPass is a comprehensive program offering free skiing and snowboarding to nine and ten-year old children at participating ski areas across the country.
