New St. Regis China hotel signed by Marriott
Marriott International has inked a management agreement to introduce the St. Regis hotel brand in Xiamen.
The latest St Regis China hotel is slated to open in 2027.
It marks the first St. Regis hotel in Fujian Province.
As a key port city, Xiamen is recognised as one of the seven special economic zones in China.
The St. Regis Xiamen will be located in the eastern part of the Huli District, part of the cross-strait financial centre.
“Xiamen has long been a destination favoured by luxury travelers and is an ideal location for the St. Regis bespoke guest experience,” said Yibing Mao, President, Greater China.
The new-build St. Regis Xiamen China hotel will feature 260 guest rooms and suites with coastal views.
The hotel expects to offer five culinary venues, a fitness centre, swimming pool, spa and children’s club.
The St. Regis Xiamen will also have 1,800 square metres of banquet meeting space.
Marriott currently operates 12 St. Regis hotels and resorts across Greater China.
