New stand alone latin America brochure

With a recently established local office in Cuzco leading adventure tour operator The Imaginative Traveller has expanded its product throughout Latin America by 50% for 2007!

The Imaginative Traveller Manager Warren Smith says, “We have regional offices around the world so it was a natural progression for us to open one in Cuzco aimed at managing this region from the ground. The opening of this office has made it possible for our product to develop and grow for 2007.”

With 13 new tours created across Latin America and with the introduction of several Independent tour extensions, The Imaginative Traveller are creating very flexible tour options for its clients. ‘South America Coast to Coast’ is a new 46-day tour, (*AU$4815 per person plus US$745 local payment), which circumnavigates the Continent from Quito in Ecuador to Rio in Brazil.  Passengers will be able trek the Inca Trail, experience the Amazon jungle and relax on the beach in Brazil.

In Central America the new 14-day ‘Volcano Connection’ (AU$1650 per person plus US$200 local payment), takes Adventure travel to a new level.  Travelling in a circuit from San Jose passengers will enjoy Lake Nicaragua, marvel at several volcanoes in the region and stay overnight in a traditional hacienda, (elaborate ranch accommodation).

The Imaginative Traveller is still covering all styles of travel in their new stand alone brochure. From ‘Adventurer’ grassroots to mid level ‘Traveller’ class tours and ‘Connoisseur’ the next level, plus Volunteer tours and dedicated Family departures, there is bound to be something for every traveller. The popular ‘Connoisseur’ tours now offer independent departures for a minimum of 2 people whilst maintaining fixed group departures.

Offering more flexibility and choice The Imaginative Traveller has added 8 new tour extensions. The 5-day ‘Easter Island Extension’, (AU$575 per person twin share or AU$715 single), can be added onto any tour and passengers will have the chance to experience all this isolated island has to offer. Another option is the 2-day ‘Iguazu Falls Extension’ (AU$330 per person twin share or AU$590 single), where one can witness the breathtaking power of one of the worlds nature wonders.

Mr Smith says “we are really excited about being able to provide such an extensive range of product, especially the tour extensions; this will give time-poor clients the flexibility to see more of this diverse continent without having to join another 2-week tour”

The operator has also included the opportunity to learn Spanish at two language schools in 2007.  The 8-day Antigua course (from AU$435 per person) and the 8-day Cuzco course (from AU$395 per person) give travellers the chance to stay with local families or in the school house along with the benefits of being able to converse with the local people as they travel.

*Tour price based on the 10% Brochure Launch Discount; must book by 31 Jan 07 and depart in 2007 (conditions apply).
