A new boss has been confirmed at northern operator Jet2holidays.com.
Claire Flynn moves from being the parent group’s human resources director to take the newly created role of tour operating director for the holiday brand.
She will move across to the new role once a replacement has been found for the HR position.
Flynn has been with Jet2.com for more than two years. She previously held a number of senior personnel roles across a range of organisations such as Energis and Going Places.
Jet2.com chief executive Philip Meeson said: “We knew Claire was the right person to develop the Jet2holidays.com brand.
“She has people management skills in spades and a keen commercial sense. It’s a really exciting time for the whole company as we take what is increasingly becoming a full leisure brand into new and interesting areas, so that we can give our customers the great experiences they have come to expectfrom our organisation.”
Flynn said: “Jet2.com was one of those brands that I had watched from its inception.
“I knew, should the opportunity arise that I really wanted to be involved with the company, so was thrilled when the HR position came up. People management, skills are core to any organisation and the focus on customer service is absolutely at the heart of everything we do here at Jet2.com.”
